AeroPath is designed to work quietly in the background. Once your account is active and the desktop app is installed, you log in, load your aircraft, release the parking brake and fly the sector as normal.
No Start Flight button. No End Flight button. No manual ACARS workflow. AeroPath detects, records and saves the flight for you.
Quick start
AeroPath works around your flying, not the other way round.
You do not need to operate AeroPath like a separate flight tracker. The desktop app runs alongside your simulator, watches for the flight to begin, records the journey and sends completed flight data into your Pilot Portal.
Step 1 — Create your account
Register on the AeroPath website using the email address you want to use for both the website and the desktop app. This becomes your AeroPath login.
Step 2 — Activate your subscription
AeroPath uses one simple £5/month subscription. Once your subscription is active, your account can access the Pilot Portal and the desktop app download area.
Step 3 — Download the desktop app
Go to the Download page and install the latest AeroPath desktop app for Windows. The app is what connects your simulator activity to your AeroPath account.
Step 4 — Log in inside AeroPath
Open the desktop app and log in using the same AeroPath email and password you use on the website. For security, one account can only be active on one desktop app installation at a time.
Step 5 — Start your simulator
Load Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or X-Plane, choose your aircraft and prepare your flight as you normally would.
Step 6 — Release the parking brake and fly
AeroPath is designed to detect the beginning of your flight automatically. There is no Start Flight button to press and no pop-up asking you to confirm the route.
Step 7 — Park at your destination
When you arrive and park at the destination, AeroPath completes the flight and saves the route, aircraft, airports, duration and landing data to your account.
Step 8 — Review your Pilot Portal
Open the Pilot Portal to view your latest flight, total flights, flight hours, aircraft history, airport history, landing review and route insights.
Step 9 — Plan the next sector
AeroPath remembers where your last flight ended, helping your next session start naturally from your current airport instead of from a blank page.
